The UWRF Rodeo Club was established in 1964. The club was designed for UWRF students that share a passion for rodeo. The club is a great way for students to get involved with the sport of rodeo without needing a horse or having to make a major time commitment.

When do we meet?

The UWRF Rodeo Club is a great way to meet new people and to make lifelong friends. One of the coolest parts about being a club member is having the opportunity to help run the Falcon Frontier Days Rodeo every fall. Students get an inside look into how the rodeo is put on and get the opportunity to make lasting connections in the equine and rodeo world. Club members also get to participate in a number of fun activities throughout the year. Some of these activities include; Homecoming Parade, Rodeo Roundup, movie nights and bowling nights. Club members are also welcome to come to team practices, or to travel with the team to rodeos (hotel fee will apply). Students do not need a horse in order to join the club. To find out more, feel free to join us at a meeting! The UWRF Rodeo Club meets the first and third Tuesdays of every month. We generally meet in a room in UWRF's Agricultural Science building. For more info, or to get in touch with the club, please use the contact form here.

For a full club registry, check out our club Facebook group here.

UWRF Rodeo Club members are more than welcome to run for club officer elections. As an officer, students are able to help guide the direction of the club, plan activities, and so much more! Club officers are also able to add valuable skills to their repertoire and to their resume. As well as officer elections, both club and team members are welcome to participate in our Rodeo Queen Pageant.
