2017 Rodeo Team
The UWRF Rodeo Team was established in 1964. The team consists of cowboys and cowgirls that compete in events such as; bareback riding, breakaway roping, tie-down roping, saddle bronc riding, team roping, goat tying, steer wrestling, barrel racing, and bull riding. The rodeo team competes in the Great Plains Region which is apart of the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). During the season the team will travel to ten different rodeos which includes a home rodeo which the team is responsible for putting on. If you're interested in joining the UWRF Rodeo Team, you can contact us either via email or come to one of our meetings. Our meetings are on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7pm located in the Agricultural Science Building in room 211.
